Construction site of the week
Estrel, Berlin
At a height of 176 meters, the Estrel Tower is the tallest building in the capital after the Berlin TV tower. Originally planned as a hotel, the skyscraper now also offers spaces for events, coworking, gastronomy and a gallery. The tower is complemented by another building in the base area, which serves as an additional event space.
The heart of this base building is a 1,700 square meter ballroom with space for up to 1,200 people. Standing seam roof from Kalzip were used as a covering for the new building – a robust solution that can even accommodate a retrofitted photovoltaic systems.
Thoughtfully considered. KALZIP.
