The city of Bologna in northern Italy is known for its historic buildings, fountains and squares. In order to relieve the city of car traffic, the construction of a tram line is intended to ensure a more sustainable and efficient mobility transition.
In addition to the construction work on the lines, buildings are also being erected outside the city centre, such as a vehicle depot or a junction with ample parking space for motorists. One of these terminals will have a Kalzip roof. The curved roof shape can be easily reproduced with the flexible aluminium profiles.
