Sports halls in Lünen

A new sports hall complex is currently being built in the Westphalian town of #Lünen, consisting of two buildings with different sized roof areas. The smaller hall has a roof area of around 770 m², while the second hall significantly exceeds this area. Both roofs have been designed from the outset to be fitted with a #greenroof at a later date. The plan is to use a modular system of plant troughs that can be flexibly positioned on the surface. In addition, the roof structure is being prepared for the installation of a #photovoltaic system and fitted with fixed walkways to ensure safe and long-term maintenance. 

The DuoPlus system from #Kalzip will be used for the roof construction. The combination of profiled aluminum covering and high-performance insulation ensures a durable and energy-efficient construction. The standing seam system also creates a permanently watertight and low-maintenance roof surface.
