Airship hangar extension, Mülheim
The new airship hangar in Mülheim is not only home to the airship Theo, which once travelled in circles over the Ruhr region. Events, trade fairs and concerts attract thousands of visitors to the event hall every year. An extension is currently being built to house offices and training rooms, among other things.
The roof work is in full swing. As with the airship hangar itself, a Kalzip system is also being used here: the Vario LB system provides a slightly pitched roof surface, while the standing seam profiled sheets ensure a uniform look.
