LA RÉUNION AIRPORT
LA RÉUNION FLUGHAFEN
The Aéroport de La Réunion Roland Garros underwent extensive modernisation with the addition of a new convention complex and the renovation of the solar roof. Kalzip supplied aluminium profiles that cover both convex and concave shapes, providing a weather-resistant solution for the island’s challenging climate conditions. This project is a showcase of energy-efficient architecture.
Kalzip sees it as a responsibility to shape the construction methods of the future with well-thought-out and resource-efficient solutions.
The projects presented in the book demonstrate that architecture can be both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally conscious. Kalzip products are designed for longevity and sustainability – from complex roof structures to highly functional facades.

The CaixaForum in Valencia, designed by Santiago Calatrava, combines art and architecture in an impressive way. Kalzip provided the conical aluminium profiles for the 2,000 m² roof, which is harmoniously integrated into the overall design and offers a durable, weather-resistant solution. This project exemplifies the combination of architectural innovation and aesthetic sophistication.
