LA RÉUNION AIRPORT

LA RÉUNION FLUGHAFEN


The Aéroport de La Réunion Roland Garros underwent extensive modernisation with the addition of a new convention complex and the renovation of the solar roof. Kalzip supplied aluminium profiles that cover both convex and concave shapes, providing a weather-resistant solution for the island’s challenging climate conditions. This project is a showcase of energy-efficient architecture.

Kalzip sees it as a responsibility to shape the construction methods of the future with well-thought-out and resource-efficient solutions.

The projects presented in the book demonstrate that architecture can be both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally conscious. Kalzip products are designed for longevity and sustainability – from complex roof structures to highly functional facades.

Kalzip provided the conical aluminium profiles for the 2,000 m² roof, which is harmoniously integrated into the overall design and offers a durable, weather-resistant solution. This project exemplifies the combination of architectural innovation and aesthetic sophistication.
