1,000 Days accident-free
Occupational safety is Kalzip’s top priority
Production — 1,000 days accident-free
For more than 1,000 days, there has been no reportable accident at the Kalzip plant in Koblenz. 1,000 accident-free working days – this is the result of a consistent education, information and improvement policy of the internationally active company.
Working in a safe and sustainable environment is one of the company’s most important guiding principles. The fact that the issue of safety at work is a top priority
is also confirmed by the regular external certification
(BS OHSAS 18001:2007).
Employees bear responsibility
Cooperation with all employees is essential for this success. Each individual is responsible for their own health and safety at all levels, as well as for their colleagues. Everyone is invited to report and document «near misses» as part of an internal reporting system.
The efforts of recent years and months have shown once again that it is worth investing in safe working conditions. During an official ceremony, the management thanked the staff and works council for this work. Kalzip will continue to do everything possible to further focus on occupational safety in the future.
