Warm roof systems

Excellent thermal insulation and energy efficiency

Kalzip warm roof structures offer a high-quality solution for roof design with insulation. These warm roof systems consist of several components that are optimally coordinated with each other. This guarantees excellent thermal insulation and thus improved energy efficiency and durability. The high-quality materials and sophisticated design provide additional protection against moisture and weather influences. The warm roof structures can be used on almost all substructures. For example, they can be used as truss roofs (e.g. trapezoidal shells) on wooden formwork or on concrete ceilings.

The advantages of the Kalzip warm roof:

  • No rear ventilation required, as with cold roofs
  • Low dead weight of the entire structure
  • Suitable for all substructures
  • Ideal for flat roofs with a pitch of 1.5° or more
  • Quick installation, largely independent of weather conditions
  • High U-values are achieved with these structures.
  • Durchdringungsfreie Installation von Solar-Modulen & Absturzsicherungen

The perfect roof structure for high thermal insulation and energy efficiency.

Practical advantages of warm roofs

  • No lightning protection is required on the roof surface, as the aluminium standing seam roof serves as a natural lightning conductor. Any structures of any kind must be tested separately.
  • Non-penetrating, fixed roof covering, therefore no weak points caused by fasteners
  • Complies with the requirements of the Industrial Building Guideline and DIN 18234-1 for industrial roofs as well as DIN EN 13984.
  • Durable and sustainable thanks to the use of recycled aluminium alloy
  • Individual design variants of geometries using XT free-form profiles for unusual building shapes

APPLICATIONS

  • Industrial applications: Kalzip warm roofs are often used in industrial buildings such as factories, warehouses and production facilities to ensure effective thermal insulation.
  • Commercial applications: The roof system is also suitable for commercial applications such as office buildings, shopping centres and hotels to reduce energy consumption and create a pleasant indoor climate.
  • Public buildings: The roof system can also be used on public buildings such as schools, hospitals and government buildings to reduce energy consumption and create a comfortable indoor climate.
  • Sports and leisure facilities: It is also popular in sports and leisure facilities such as swimming pools, gyms and sports centres to improve environmental performance and energy consumption.
