The Kalzip NatureRoof is an advanced green roof system that has been carefully developed to support biodiversity and to provide measurable performance and environmental benefits as per the Green Roofing Organisation CoP. It is compatible with all Kalzip roof constructions using the Kalzip 65/400 profile, provided that the underlying structure meets the necessary load-bearing and performance requirements. The system is delivered to site in coordinated, functional layers, each designed for a specific role in the overall roof build-up.

Kalzip now also offers the option to incorporate photovoltaic (PV) systems above the NatureRoof. In combination with the DICONAL system and the FA PV Seam Clamp, PV modules can be integrated on both new builds and refurbishment projects, including retrofitting on existing Kalzip roofs—subject to structural verification.

NatureRoof can be retrofitted to an existing Kalzip roof, subject to the appropriate static design verification (Kalzip 65/400 only)
After removal of the NatureRoof, the Kalzip roof remains as a fully functional roof covering

Applications for the NatureRoof System:

Residential: The Kalzip NatureRoof can be used on residential buildings/complexes to create an environmentally friendly, energy-saving solution.
Office buildings: The Kalzip Nature Roof is also a good choice for office buildings as it can better insulate the building and improve energy efficiency.
Education and public buildings: The Kalzip Nature Roof is also suitable for educational and other public buildings, as it is a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for roof construction.
Industrial buildings: Industrial buildings can also benefit from the Kalzip Nature Roof as it has a high load bearing capacity and is therefore suitable for large roofs.
