Kalzip® vented roof systems

Vented roof structures

A roof construction with many advantages

Kalzip vented roof structures are cost-effective roof structures that can be used for both new builds and refurbishment projects. The rear ventilation improves year-round thermal insulation. We have a competent and suitable solution for your ventilated roof for all roof structures.

The advantages:

  • Economical alternative to other roofing materials such as tiles, slate or zinc
  • Low maintenance and no maintenance costs thanks to durable roof cladding
  • Cost-effective overall package thanks to harmonised system components and surfaces
  • Very low weight, even with solar

Flexible planning and design freedom for new buildings

The advantages of a vented roof:

  • Have improved heat dissipation compared to non-ventilated roofs. The roof heats up less due to the rear ventilation
  • The use of light colours/surfaces of the Kalzip profiles makes these roof structures ideal as so-called “cool roofs”
  • Mould growth in the wood is prevented by the ventilation provided
  • Pollutants that accumulate inside the building can be discharged to the outside via the ventilation layer

Applications:

  • Commercial buildings: Kalzip ventilated roofs are ideal for commercial buildings such as offices, retail outlets and industrial facilities. They can help to reduce energy consumption and extend the service life of the roof.
  • Public buildings: They are also suitable for public buildings such as schools, libraries and government buildings, as they can help to create a pleasant indoor climate and reduce energy costs.
  • Residential quarters: Ventilated roofs can also be used in residential quarters to improve the indoor climate. They can also help to extend the service life of the roof.
