Perforated facades by Kalzip®

Perforated façades

Function meets design

Perforated façade systems made by Kalzip combine design freedom with functional intelligence. Whether as an elegant smooth sheet metal façade with a fine perforated structure, as a striking standing seam variant or as profiled façade elements such as the TF800R, perforated elements offer a new dimension in façade design. They are perfect as a design highlight, for shading or for partial transparency – for example in car parks or technical areas. At the same time, they contribute to the functional improvement of buildings by controlling light, air and visibility in a targeted manner.

The advantages of perforated façades:

  • Aesthetic diversity thanks to various hole pattern options
  • Privacy and sun protection – ideal for windows, stairwells or loggias
  • Can be integrated into façade surfaces without perforations
  • Lightweight, durable, sustainable – aluminium stands for corrosion resistance, low weight and full recyclability
  • Planning reliability thanks to system solution – clear connection details, fast CAD support

Perforated Façades Redefined

The advantages:

  • Planning reliability through system integration:
Clear connection details, verified structural data and BIM-supported CAD files simplify the planning process
  • Sustainability documented and certified:
Kalzip’s perforated façade systems have EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations), a real advantage in tenders and when communicating with building owners
  • Creative freedom:
Customised perforation patterns can be integrated into the Kalzip system at no extra cost, enabling creative architecture with systematic logic
  • Fast and transparent implementation:
Production in Europe with short delivery routes and clear timings for maximum reliability on the construction site
  • System design reduces sources of error:
Fewer interfaces, fewer assembly errors, a major advantage in the construction process, especially for complex building geometries

Applications for perforated façades:

  • Shaded window facades: Perforated panels provide elegant sun protection without external systems – a visually calm façade structure with functionality
  • Car parks and technical housings: High air permeability, reduced visibility and a uniform appearance – ideal for functional building envelopes with high design standards
  • Design accents on the façade: Individual perforated fields or zones create exciting light and shadow effects – vibrant façades with depth
  • Cladding for loggias or balconies: Semi-transparent design protects privacy and emphasises the architectural rhythm
