Stadion FC Lugano, Tessin
In the Ticino city of Lugano, a multifunctional project is being realised in which the largest square is to be used for sport and events. Part of the project is a new stadium – and thus a new home for FC Lugano. The area of around 16,000 square metres is intended to hold up to 10,000 spectators.
Already in use in many international sports projects and stadiums, a Kalzip system is proving here too that it is ideally suited to buildings of this type. With a standing seam roof from Kalzip that can be installed quickly, the tight construction schedule can also be optimally adhered to.
