The Rode Loop sports hall in Deurne, Belgium, demonstrates how curved geometries can shape the design of an entire building envelope.
Approximately 3,100 m² of Kalzip 50/429 was used for the roof and facade. The design, featuring multiple curves, connects the different areas of the building into a seamless architectural envelope. The HPC RAL 9007 finish emphasizes the building’s uniform appearance and flowing form.
The consistent use of aluminum profiles across the roof and facade creates a clear materiality in which the curves become the defining design element of the architecture.
The project was completed in 2025.
