Renovation of the Telekom building in Bonn

South of Bonn-Beuel, in close proximity to the Rhine and the foothills of the Siebengebirge mountains, lies the corporate and administrative building of Deutsche Telekom, better known as ‘T-Mobile’. The office complex covers a total area of 123,000 square metres, providing space for numerous employees. 

During the last renovation, the building was upgraded to both the DGNB Gold Standard and the KfW 40 Standard. Kalzip standing seam profiles with a natural radius, which were roll-formed, were used for the roof construction. The layer structure consists of the existing concrete ceiling, a vapour barrier, steel hat profiles, a new insulation layer and the final Kalzip roofing.

B. Schlichter GmbH & Co. KG from Lathen was responsible for the roof renovation as an expert contractor and carried out the precise installation and complete laying of the Kalzip elements.
