At the industrial building in Vlaardingen, engineering meets exceptional geometry. 📐

The conical roof flows seamlessly into a curved façade, realised using Kalzip 65/400 in a curved execution with Vario LB as the substructure. With an overall height of 42 metres and panel lengths of up to 20 metres, the project demanded the highest level of precision. One particularly challenging section of the roof, referred to by installers as the “ski slope”, rises at a 70 degree angle over 26 metres, making installation especially demanding. ⛷️ The structure was tested and preassembled internally to ensure technical feasibility.
