Teamkal Conference 2009 – Weathering the storm
Business update from Jonathan Clemens

Stepping out into the spotlight to kick start the 14th Annual Teamkal Conference at Carden Park Hotel, Chester, Jonathan Clemens’ (Kalzip MD for the UK/North America and the Middle East) addressed delegates from across Kalzip’s approved installer Network.

Focussing on how Kalzip & Teamkal can, and are, weathering the economic storm that’s raging around us, Jonathan emphasised the importance and need to keep innovating to ensure that our brands stay alive. There are still excellent opportunities and projects out there despite the climate, as long as the focus is on what can be achieved to make our businesses better by learning from our competitors and taking advantage of training whilst embracing change to make our services and products even better.

As upbeat, yet as realistic as ever, Jonathan showed that when you plan ahead for the future and carry on innovating then it can give everyone the opportunity to take their businesses forward to success even in the midst of a global recession.

Explaining his point through the 4Ps – Passion, Pride, Pace and Professionalism – he applauded the Teamkal network for possessing all four in abundance. There was a clear message that only by working together as partners (to build some of the most iconic and innovative worldwide projects) using the right products, the latest training and employing the right people can everyone keep one step ahead of the competition, cope with change and continue to lead the way.

And that is why Teamkal is:
The Network of professionals
The Network of excellence
The Network of choice

This year’s Conference ‘Weathering the Storm’ wouldn’t have been possible without the continued support and commitment from our long standing partners and supply chain members who sponsored the event.  We would once again like to thank them for the critical role they play in our Annual Kalzip Teamkal Conference.
